Common Sense Guide to Government Legislation for Government Legislators

IF: You want to create a tax. Don't
IF: You want to make new "rules". Don't
IF: You want to make new laws. Don't
If: You want to "change" our rights. Don't
IF: You want to suspend our privileges. Don't
IF: You want us to concede our liberties. We won't

We've thrived in this country for most of the 234 years we've existed. Very little has changed. Civil rights and women's suffrage excluded, the founding of this country was perfect. If you try to change the basic layout of our rules and laws and liberties and privileges, we'll get angry. So we won't if you don't.

There were poor people, gay people (presumably since it's "from birth"), and minorities since the inception of the United States of America. At this point in time, we still have poor people, gay people, and minorities. Why is it that after all of the legislation making job seekers "equal" there are still poor people? I don't know. I don't care. I'll help them if I can. I won't just enable them to be poor. I suppose a hundred years from now there will still be poor people, gay people and minorities.

The key to legislation in this country is to stop legislating. No more legislating means no need for legislators, which leads to a smaller government, a smaller government leads to less national debt, less national debt leads to less taxes and less inflation, less taxes and less inflation leads to happier citizens, happier citizens leads to a more productive workforce, a more productive workforce leads to a better economy, a better economy leads to more money, more money=problem solved.

I finished an exhaustive^ study of medical professionals today. I asked them if they were for or against the health care reform passed since O's inauguration. I asked them to simply answer "yes" or "no". One doctor laughed and said emphatically, "NO". Another professional asked if we could just "get rid of Obama". It is obvious to me that no medical professional is FOR the already passed health care reform. So, no medical professional is for it, the majority of polled Americans are against it, and yet Congress passed it. Nice, Congress. We all thank you, well, some of us thank you, but NOT most of us.

On to another subject. Is it true that Michelle is in Spain? That's what I've heard. I think it is really amusing that the State Department removed it's "warning" for "Afro-Americans" visiting Spain due to vehement racism in the country at the same time our presumably "Afro-American" first lady was travelling there.

Cheerio,

^The study wasn't necessarily exhaustive. I just became exhausted because it was hot today (probably due to global warming). I surveyed three people. One doctor of orthopedics, one veterinarian, and one receptionist, who I think you'll agree are all medical professionals.

Heifers in heat will stand for anything...

Will you? Will the person you vote for? I was reading an article and trying to decipher the bottom line. Apparently, the bottom line is "Democrats will stand for anything to get them elected". Now that thing is gun rights and the NRA. The NRA is sending more money than ever to democrats, up over three times since W and Gore. That's interesting. I wonder how much research they(the NRA) have done on these fair weather friends. I have a friend that works there. I'll ask. Either way, doesn't it seem that when the times get tough the democrats change their minds to fit their desired base? Don't get me wrong, the Republicans will do the same thing. I just think that given the two choices, you should vote for neither. Libertarians stand for things that aren't popular. They have stood and probably always will stand for them. That's what I want. I want elected officials that will stand for the same things over and over and over. I don't want heifers representing me in Congress. I don't want a heifer in the White House. I especially don't want a heifer in the White House who talks. And, I really don't want a heifer in the White House who tells me that "it could be worse". If you want a heifer to represent you as an elected official, vote for 4250, at least she has nice legs.

PS- Immediately after posting this particular post, I found a clip that says O will be a guest on "The View". No further comment necessary, at least not if you read the title. Maybe next he can appear on the "JOY"ful heifer show.

Toddlers for Congress

Is anything productive happening in Congress? Should anything productive happen there? Would toddlers appreciate a socialist state? Can toddlers comprehend socialism?

It seems that Congress (Dems and GOP included) are spending their time arguing about who's pet project receives the most funding rather than listening to the American people. Is that the way it is intended? Do any of our representatives have our best interests at heart? When a majority of the American people want no part of a "single payer" health care policy, why is Congress still crafting models of it? Can Nancy Pelosi hear, or did a botched botox destroy her aural integrity? Does Harry Reid listen, or do the voices in his head drown out millions of taxpaying citizens? I'm convinced that Mr. Obama doesn't care what the people are saying. If he truly has a degree in law with special emphasis on Constitutional Law, then he should know that the will of the people is the law of the land. But, maybe, the degree with emphasis was for a different notion. Perhaps the Constitutional knowledge would also be necessary to work around, rather than within the law, legally. (I only had to write that sentence once, you may have to read a few times) Sun Tsu, a Chinese General, said (a partial quote) "know thy enemy". If your enemy is the Constitution, a law degree with a Constitutional law emphasis, would be invaluable. If your enemy is Mr. Obama, I'm not sure what to study, he changes his mind too often.
Now to the toddlers:
Let's elect toddlers for Congress. They'll work cheap (animal crackers, diapers, juice, milk, etc.) and it will be relatively cheap day care for parents. And, best of all, when the food is handed out in equal parts, they'll fight for more and behave just like the Congresspeople we're used to, showing us just how unrealistic socialism is.

Cheers...

Here's to our government finally taking action we've all been waiting for. I'm glad my tax dollars are hard at work. Government oversight is a good thing. More would be even better. I'm tired of corporations making money because of my stupidity, or rather "our collective" stupidity. It's about time big brother took a stance and "done showed" us what was right and what was wrong. I mean, who knew I might be purchasing a drug? Who knew that for the last hundred years people have been feeding drugs to their toddlers? Thank you big brother. Now I know. Stop eating cheerios people. STOP!!!!!!!! They may contain a drug (whole grain oats). Please stop now before you find yourself stuck in a self deprecating cycle. Whole grain oats are a gateway drug people. Next its metamucil. One day you'll find yourself in the gutter fighting pigeons for the grit on the side of the road. Please stop now. If Mr. Obama has his way, we may find ourselves buying our cereal grains on street corners in the middle of the night on hooker infested boulevards of major cities. It's also possible, those of us who have money (which will become fewer with every day of Obamanomics) will go to the GP begging for scripts for Cheerios. What do you suppose the markup will be for whole grain oats? I imagine that general mills will soon be in a position to sell the cheerio label to Pfizer. Don't we have anything better to do? Doesn't our government have anything more productive to worry about? We've got: terror, war and an economy on the verge of a collapse of "roman" proportions and they spend time worrying about steroids in baseball, sign stealing in football, and whole grain oats in cereal. Sighs. I can't take it anymore. I think I'll just barricade myself in a cave with guns and ammo and live on the bugs and other critters I can catch. I suppose my children will then be at least as antisocial as a "homeschooler", but I'm now not sure who I want them to socialize with these days anyway. Cheerio, Happy hunting.
